New Hampshire’s Most Refreshing Hike Will Lead You Straight To A Beautiful Swimming Hole
Slowly but surely the weather is getting warmer and that has us ready for the long days of summer! As we ease our way into that, we’ve made a long list of things we plan to do outside. Of course, we’ve got the beach at the top of the list. But taking up major space on our must-experience list are hikes throughout the state. While we always try new things, there’s one hike leading to a wonderful swimming hole that we do every single summer!
Baldface Circle Trail is a fairly simple route that covers about 1.6 miles on an out and back trail.
Unless you're feeling particularly ambitious, it's going to be hard to talk yourself into that larger hike when beautiful Emerald Pool is seemingly just around the corner after leaving the trailhead.
The entire area is beautiful, making a day trip to the swimming hole a great idea. There's plenty to see surrounding the area. We recommend taking a dip, doing some exploring and then finishing with another refreshing swim.
Michelle has lived in many places, but counts Maine as one of the best. In addition to the smell of ocean water in the air on rainy days in Portland, she loves puppies, photography, funny people, the Maine Red Claws, traveling, fresh tomatoes, Cambodia and filling out forms.
