If You Have An Imagination And Love For Fairytales This New Hampshire Playground Is A Dream Come True
We love sharing our favorite parks and trails with you because we believe that getting outside is important. Of course, it helps that New Hampshire is absolutely beautiful! While we can’t say enough good things about an adventure outside, we know that not every day calls for lacing up the hiking boots. Sometimes just enjoying the breeze is enough. That’s why we love that there are so many fun local parks to explore. This one is great for those who love the world of their own imaginations!
Field of Dreams Park in Salem is both a playground and a place for the community to safely gather for special events and for time outdoors.
The entire space is the result of a dedicated team of volunteers. Today, it stands as a testament to what a group of people working towards a common community goal can achieve.
The focal point of the park is the playground, which is built to resemble a fairy tale castle. While many playgrounds allow for children to daydream, role play and use their imaginations, this one takes things to a whole new level.
The sprawling structure has enough space for many children to play safely at once and the design makes it easy to come up with different stories for kids to play around.
The rest of the park offers space for even more creative play. Come up with an idea at the playground and then let it run wild within the trees and paths that make this place so special.
Open year-round, there are lots of areas to explore including a fitness trail with structures to for adults to use. There's also a picnic area that lets visitors enjoy snacks and meals which makes it easy to spend the entire day here.
This is a wonderful addition to the Salem community. And, even if you're not local, it's certainly worth the trip!
Field of Dreams Park in Salem is open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. You can learn more about visiting by checking out their website or following them on Facebook. You can reach the group that maintains it on 603-233-4455.
