New Hampshire is a great place to explore, especially if you a lover of fine craft beer! The Granite State has a burgeoning independent brewer’s scene just waiting for you to taste their wares. Thanks to the New Hampshire Brewers Association, you can now visit many of the state’s breweries as part of the New Hampshire Beer Trail. Here are a few highlighted locations that can be combined for a weekend road trip.
This brewery's bright red barn along Route 4 in Northwood is hard to miss. Inside, you'll find craft beer made with old-fashioned brewing technology and locally-sourced ingredients. This tiny brewery is located on McClary Hill Farm, on the same hilltop where a tavern first served customers before the American Revolution. All of the ingredients for the beer are made right on the farm, making this a true farm-to-kettle brewery. Concord Craft Brewing was established in 2015 and is located in the 150-year old Merrimack Farmers Exchange in the heart of downtown Concord. This cozy brewery is located in a tiny space within the village of Suncook, which is shared between the towns of Pembroke and Allenstown.
