Bavaria German Restaurant in Hooksett offers a way to travel to Germany, without actually having to get on a plane.
Inside the decor will take you right to the Bavarian region of the country. It almost feels like dining in the home of a local.
It's clear that owners Anton and Monika Berger know what they're doing. And they should! They operated a restaurant with 200 seats and a beer garden with 600 seats! These folks know Bavarian food.
And that feeling continues into the menu! These dishes are hearty, huge and filled with taste.
Anton has been a chef for more than 40 years, which means he knows how to run a kitchen that turns out absolutely outstanding food.
The menu here is totally authentic and includes the sausages you'd expect to see as well as things like this pan fried pork chop with sweet mustard and pretzel crumbs.
We love the Fleischpflanzl, which is a dish that comes with homemade Bavarian meat patties lightly topped with gravy and served with homemade Bavarian potatoes.
Of course, dessert is one of the most important parts of dining out and you won't be disappointed with the options here.
And, last but not least, remember that no Bavarian meal is complete without the beer!
