Dubbed the “Laughlin Lagoon”, you may have actually seen it come up in the news sometime earlier this year. The lagoon is expected to receive an upgrade by the end of the year so that it’s more easily accessible. We couldn’t be more excited to see how this amazing lagoon turns out. If you don't live in the area, you may not be aware that Laughlin is home to a gorgeous little lagoon. It's surprisingly unknown despite the fact that this body of water is absolutely begging to be explored. However, that's all about to change.

Despite the lagoon's utter beauty, it hasn't really been in an explorable state. The lagoon hasn't been dredged in nearly 20 years. This means that boats can't come freely in and out of the lagoon, making it impossible for us to truly take advantage of this delightful body of water.

However, a dredging project is currently in motion and is expected to be finished by the end of the year. This is great news for the Laughlin community. Not only does dredging open up the lagoon for exploration but also for an economic boom.
