One of the most stunning gardens in the world can be found inside none other than the world-famous Bellagio Hotel and Casino. Comprised of a mesmerizing 14,000 square feet, the garden is a sight to see all year round. However, it’s especially wonderful to see during the holidays since that’s when it transforms into the most breathtaking garden Christmas light display. Thousands of visitors travel to this beloved garden every Christmas just to witness its holiday magic and you’ll want to be sure to experience it for yourself too. The dazzling holiday display at the Bellagio's Conservatory & Botanical Garden in Las Vegas is officially up and running for the season. If you have yet to see this famous garden as it transforms into a holiday wonderland, then it's high time you do!

The Bellagio's botanical garden will be all dressed up for the holidays through January 4, 2020. This year's theme is "Making Holiday Memories" and it promises to be bigger and better than ever.

Designed by the Bellagio's special horticulture team, the highlight of this year's display is a massive 42-foot-tall live White Fir tree that's been decorated with thousands of glimmering lights along with over-the-top holiday decor.

Of course, the garden's setting is simply perfect for a Christmas light display. Featuring 34,000 flowers in total, including 28,000 poinsettias and 12,000 hydrangeas, this garden is downright epic in every sense of the word.

You'll spot something beautiful to look at wherever your eyes happen to land. Even the baby polar bears are created with white carnations! As you walk through the garden, you'll be fully immeshed by the sights, smells, and sounds of the Christmas season.

The display is on 24 hours a day, so drop by anytime between now and January 4 to witness one of the grandest celebrations of Christmas in the state. There's no cost to enter the garden and parking is free at the Bellagio for the first hour.

What is winter in Nevada like?

So much of Nevada is desert, where the days are dry and sunny and the nights are frigid. The same principle applies in the wintertime, so if you plan to visit Nevada during the colder months, you’ll want lots and lots of warm layers. Many people are surprised by just how frigid Las Vegas can be in the winter when the average high is only about 57 degrees F. While the daytime temperatures are relatively pleasant, you’ll absolutely need a jacket after sunset.

It probably won’t surprise you to learn that Nevada goes all out for the holiday season. This is especially true in a city like Las Vegas, but it applies to Nevada’s small towns as well.
