Located in historic Genoa is The Pink House, also known as The Reese-Johnson-Virgin House (although that can be quite the mouthful). Built in 1855 with a unique Gothic Revival style, the house is listed on The National Register Of Historic Places.
The Pink House was restored in 2015 and a lot of effort was made into preserving the original integrity of the house. Stepping inside is like stepping into the past. The interior is authentically decorated in a 19th century style.
Walking through this historic house is well worth the visit alone. However, The Pink House is primarily a cheese shop where you can pick up gourmet artisan cheeses that you just can't find in the grocery store.
They are also a restaurant, with a menu composed of sandwiches, cheese plates, salads, and various other lighter entrees. All of their food is prepared with fresh, local produce.
