Nevada is full of restaurants. From celebrity-owned places to hotel resort buffets to the little mom & pop diner on the corner, if you’re hungry it definitely won’t be difficult finding a yummy place to go. Here, however, are eight truly scrumptious restaurants in Nevada that of which you may never have heard but which are amazingly delicious. Take a look.
1. B.J. Bull Bakery, 208 Idaho Street, Elko
This quaint and unique pasty and fruit pie shop is one of the best restaurants in all of Elko.
This tiny eatery is the home of the original miner meal: the pasty. These savory pies are filled with such things as chile verde (pictured), beef and cabbage, vegetables, turkey and cranberries, chicken curry, chicken pot pie, and so much more. Additionally, B. J. Bull makes the most delicious fruit pies.
2. Secret Pizza, 3708 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas
With a name like Secret Pizza, some people know this incredible pizzeria exists, but many don't know, exactly, where it is.
Located at the end of a long corridor on the third floor inside the Cosmopolitan, this small pizzeria has some of the best pizza you will ever eat.
3. The Lady Tamales, 933 Woodside Drive, Carson City
This hidden Nevada gem is tucked in the corner of a building that also has a party supply store, laundromat, and convenience store. As the old adage goes, never judge a book by its cover.

4. Hometown Pizza, 222 S. Main Street, Tonopah
The other best pizza in Nevada can be found in this little Tonopah hole-in-the-wall pizzeria.
Also the subject of a previous Only in Your State article,
has quite the variety of interesting and traditional pizzas. All are scrumptious.
5. The Daily Bagel, 495 Morrill Avenue, Reno
This cute little eatery is located in a somewhat secluded and unusual spot in Reno. From the local art on the wall to the hair salon located next door, this newspaper-themed eatery is definitely eclectic.
In addition to many types of fresh bagels and killer coffee, the Daily Bagel also offers some unique sandwiches, again, named after newspaper "stuff" like the Byline, the Chicago Tribune, the Black and White, and the Obituary (pictured) that is loaded with BBQ roast beef, jalapenos, pepper Jack cheese, and onions. Tasty!
6. El Aguila Real, 254 E. Front Street, Battle Mountain
Located off Highway 80 in the small town of Battle Mountain is an amazing authentic Mexican restaurant you have to try.
What more could you want than fresh, tasty food cooked and served by truly delightful people in a quaint little town? The answer: nothing. Try this place the next time you're heading down I-80.
7. Chicago Greek, 355 W. Mesquite Blvd., Mesquite
Seriously, where else can you get both authentic Greek AND Chicago fare?
From this delicious gyro to baklava to souvlaki and other traditional Greek fare to Chicago style sandwiches, you will truly get the best of both worlds at this Mesquite eatery.
8. Road Runner Cafe, 130 Douglas Street, Dayton
This little eatery is a hit with locals and famous for its hearty and delicious breakfasts, but Road Runner Cafe also serves a variety of lunch items.
From fluffy omelets to pancakes and french toast to scrambles to sandwiches, this little diner has quite a large menu: all of it yummy.
