We’ve heard it plenty of times before: you can’t get great seafood in Nebraska. It seems to make sense since we are the most landlocked state in the nation. Thankfully for folks who can’t get enough oysters, crab, shrimp, and other delicacies from the sea, there’s a terrific seafood restaurant that could be the destination of your dreams.

Shucks Fish House and Oyster Bar in Omaha is an offshoot of Absolutely Fresh Seafood. Absolutely Fresh may be the best-known fresh seafood supplier in the area.

Shucks has three locations: downtown at 19th & Leavenworth (pictured above), the Shops of Legacy at 168th & Center, and 119th & Pacific (where the Absolutely Fresh retail shop is located).
We're partial to the cozy, funky downtown restaurant, but you'll find incredible seafood at all three locations. The nautical and fish-themed decor will entertain you as you wait and prepare you for the feast you're about to enjoy.
