There’s A Bacon Festival Happening In Nebraska And It’s As Amazing As It Sounds
Bacon has gained a kind of cult appeal in the past decade or so, and there’s good reason for that: it’s impossibly delicious. Entire festivals have sprung up around this magical meat, including this one that’s coming up soon in Grand Island.
Imagination Bacon is a fundraising event for the Imagination Library Program. The program provides free books in the mail every month for participating kids ages 0-5 in Hall, Hamilton, Howard and Merrick Counties.
Heartland United Way puts on the event, which takes place in the Fonner Park Exhibition Building in Grand Island. 2018 will be the 4th annual Imagination Bacon festival.
The 4th annual Imagination Bacon event is set to take place on October 6, 2018 from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. It will be in the Fonner Park Exhibition Building at 700 E Stolley Park Road, Grand Island, NE 68801. Tickets are $45 in advance or $50 at the door. Get more information on the Heartland United Way site right here, or take a look at the Facebook event page here.
