They are some of my favorite places to frequent – not just because of the character, but because the owners often put their hearts and souls into what they offer to the general public. We’re lucky to live in a state that still honors and admires family-run businesses, and a perfect example of this is Jim & Connie’s Blair Bakery. With a wide variety of sweet treats to indulge in, this tiny family-run bakery in Nebraska is about as down-home as you can get. Plus, some visitors have even touted this as some of the best donuts in town!
