Head to Whaley Creek Falls to find one overlooked cascade that you'll likely have all to yourself.
The trail to Whaley Creek Falls is a remote path that takes you off the beaten path to discover a hidden little waterfall.
The rocky trail is fairly easy to traverse, and you'll travel 2.5 miles out and back.
You'll be walking towards a breathtaking view of the Bighorn Basin from the edge of Bighorn National Forest.
Be prepared for some rocky footing as you hike down to the falls. It's helpful to bring trekking poles, but easy enough to make the journey without them.
Whaley Creek tumbles down the rockface, creating a hidden little cascade that makes for a picture perfect destination.
Pack a picnic and sit down by the water to enjoy the beauty of the Bighorns in this secluded spot. Don't forget to pack bear spray, too.
