Discover One Of Wyoming’s Most Majestic Waterfalls – No Hiking Necessary

Kepler Cascades in Yellowstone National Park is a stunning, easily accessible waterfall named after the governor’s son.

Wyoming is full of stunning natural wonders and one of the most impressive is hiding in plain sight. The Kepler Cascades were named in 1881 after 12-year-old Kepler Hoyt, who was the governor's son. Today, you can visit this beautiful waterfall by trekking to Yellowstone National Park and walking a short distance from the parking lot to a wooden bridge overlook. That's right - no strenuous hiking is required to see one of the best sights in the state.

Kepler Falls is one of Yellowstone National Park's most visited waterfalls! The cascade is very close to Old Faithful Geyser, which brings millions of visitors each year to this area of the park.

This stunning tumbling waterfall can be seen from an overlook platform that's just a short walk from a parking area. You'll hardly have to leave your car, which makes this a great stop on any time-crunched Yellowstone road trip.

There's no hiking necessary to see this wonderful, awe-inspiring roadside waterfall. You should carry your bear spray though, as this area is one where bear activity is common.

You'll see multiple tiers as the river tumbles over 150', all the way down to the water below. The largest drop is the size of a five story building, and the roar of the water is loud enough to hear from quite a distance away.

The beautiful Kepler Cascades are a sight that every Wyoming visitor or native Wyomingite must see at least once in their lives - no excuses, because you barely have to get out of the car!
