Located just a few miles north of Two Rivers, Point Beach State Forest is a secluded stretch of beach that offers some of the calmest, most relaxing stretches of sand you'll find anywhere in Wisconsin.
There's something so amazingly wild and calming about the beach, with its dunes and vegetation.
Walking the boardwalk out to the water feels like traveling through time a bit - you emerge on an empty beach to gorgeous white sand that you feel like you have all to yourself.

You never know what vegetation or animal life you might find here. A day - or more - at Point Beach is well worth the drive.

The lighthouse here still shines from 30 minutes before sunset until 30 minutes after sunrise. The current tower has been standing since 1894.
