The Natural Waterpark In Wisconsin That’s The Perfect Place To Spend A Summer’s Day

Chute Pond County Park in Wisconsin offers a natural waterpark experience with a beach, natural water slide, and various water activities.

Home to the Waterpark Capital of the World, the options for exciting, on-the-water fun are virtually endless in Wisconsin. However, if a visit to a traditional waterpark isn’t your only recourse when craving some water-related thrills, then we found the perfect place for you. Instead, you can head to Chute Pond in Mountain Wisconsin, where you’ll find a beach, natural water slide, and more. In my opinion, it’s the best natural waterpark in Wisconsin.

Located in Mountain, Chute Pond County Park boasts 167 acres of incredible amenities, including a campground and nature trails.

The park’s location on the shore of Chute Pond and along the Oconto River is definitely another perk.

Like a paradise for water enthusiasts, the 433-acre Chute Pond is a popular spot for fishing, water-skiing, jet-skiing, and paddling.

And with a sandy beach, it’s also a prime place for a refreshing dip.

One of the park’s best features, though, is a natural water slide, which has been dubbed Slippery Rock.

Basically Mother Nature’s version of a Slip and Slide, Slippery Rock is a natural rock formation that just so happens to form a waterslide.

Perfectly slanted and covered in the flowing waters of the Oconto River, the natural waterslide sends adventure-seekers soaring into the pool of water below.

Fun for all ages and sure to result in lifelong memories, a visit to Slippery Rock is a summertime must.

Between the river’s refreshing water and the thrill of Slippery Rock, you’ll likely want to spend as much time as possible at Chute Pond County Park.

Luckily, the grounds include amenities, such as picnic tables, restrooms, and a store, to make your stay a comfortable one.
