If you aren't from Grafton or the neighboring areas, chances are you haven't. But we think after seeing just how incredible this place looks, you'll want to make the drive.

This is a 73 acre public park.

It has remained untouched since before European settlement of Wisconsin.

There are plenty of places to walk and explore.

It runs adjacent to Lake Michigan for .7 miles.

There are boardwalks that go through gorgeous wetlands.

100-foot bluffs look out over Lake Michigan.

It's one of the last untouched parts of Lake Michigan shoreline.

Definitely be careful as erosion has taken its toll on the bluffs.

Pristine wetlands and ponds complement the sand. Whether you're watching the waves crash in or stepping over rocks, you are going to love this park.

Visit Lion's Den Gorge Nature Preserve at 511 High Bluff Dr, Grafton, WI 53024. They are open from 6 am - 9 pm every day of the week.
