This Wisconsin Zoo Is Offering Half Price Admission Until March 2021

The cold temperatures may have you wanting to stay indoors where it’s nice and cozy. However, as it turns out, it’s the perfect time to visit NEW Zoo – and that’s because, until March 2021, the admission is half price! So bundle up, brave the cold, and enjoy a fun day out that won’t break the bank.

Located in Green Bay, the Northeastern Wisconsin Zoo, or the NEW Zoo as it’s called, is open year-round, offering 365 days of wild fun.

Though you can visit any time during the year, right now is a great time to visit since admission is half price.

The discounted rates last throughout the months of January and February 2021.

At just 43 acres, the zoo is far from huge; however, that doesn’t mean it’s lacking in the amenities department.

Offering plenty to keep visitors entertained, the grounds include an adventure park with a zip line, aerial obstacle course, and rock climbing tower.

Keep in mind that the adventure park’s hours differ from the zoo’s hours. Additionally, it’s currently closed due to COVID.

The grounds also include the Mayan “Taste of the Tropics” restaurant, playgrounds, train, and a carousel.

But the best feature of all is without a doubt the 200+ animals that call the zoo home.

There are many opportunities to have up-close encounters with the menagerie at the zoo.

In addition to viewing the wild residents from afar, visitors can get up close to the animals in the petting zoo area and even feed the giraffes.

Remember, admission is half off through January and February, during which time NEW Zoo is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
