There was a time when all you could find at an apple orchard were apples. But today, in the picturesque rolling hills of Trempealeau County, you’ll find a little apple farm that offers fresh fall apples and so much more. Ecker’s Apple Farm is one of Wisconsin's best apple orchards for fall fun. It has live music, a beer garden, food trucks, and lots of delicious apples. Grab your friends and head to Ecker’s: here’s what’s waiting for you.
On nice fall days, you’ll find a big crowd at Ecker’s. The orchard is in a rural area a few miles from the Village of Trempealeau. You’ll know you’re in the right spot when you see a stream of cars pulling off Highway 54.
When you walk into the property, you’ll see why it draws a crowd. The orchard is gorgeous, and it is surrounded by lush hills.
The farm has been around since 1945. It grows 20 varieties of apples, as well as blueberries in the summer.
But the farm does more than grow fruit - it brings people together. It hosts special events like weddings, and on fall days, the public is welcome to the farm to celebrate the season.
Ecker’s has a stage with live music, food carts with delicious offerings, and a craft beer stand that also has some great options.
And of course there are apples – head inside the farm store and pick up a caramel apple, or a fresh bag of apples to bring home. If you would rather pick your own and enjoy the freshest apple you’ve ever tasted, that can be arranged!
