Bear Den Zoo & Petting Farm is a little family-owned zoo located at 6831 Big Bend Rd., Waterford, Wisconsin.

This charming zoo is small enough that you can easily see it in an afternoon, and large enough to be home to some pretty amazing animals. The zoo offers a mix of exotic animals, local wildlife and domestic farm animals.

Come and hang out with the lemurs...

...and see just how slow a tortoise really travels. Exotic animals at Bear Den Zoo include lemurs, macaw, servals, Patagonian cavies, and kangaroo, just to name a few.

You'll find native wildlife, like fawns, bobcat, red foxes, lynx, and even a ground hog.

Farm animals include goats (and their kids), pigs, horses, cows, ducks, chickens, alpacas and more.

Teddy the black bear also lives here, and you'll want to say hello to him during your visit.

The farm is beautiful, and has several shady spots to picnic and play.

Visit this charming zoo starting on Memorial Day through October. The $10 admission fee gets you into the zoo, gives you access to the baby animal petting areas and children's playground, and includes a hayride around the farm.
