Wisconsin’s Amnicon Falls And Campground Loop Trail Leads To A Magnificent Hidden Oasis

There’s nothing wrong with having high expectations. The prospect of a big payoff is what motivates outdoor adventurers to leave the comforts of home, right? When it comes to Amnicon Falls State Park, visitors consistently say the rewards are greater than they pictured and are certainly more than the investment of effort. The park is only 14 miles from the town of Superior in northwest Wisconsin. The Amnicon Falls and Campground Loop is an easy 2.4-mile trail, and two spectacular waterfalls are only 100 yards apart.
