There’s A Wallaby Ranch In Washington And It’s As Adorable As It Sounds
Fall City Wallaby Ranch in Washington offers interactive tours to see and learn about wallabies and kangaroos.
The adorable wallaby is native to Australia and New Guinea. Luckily, you don't have to take an 18 hour flight, or even leave Washington, to see one. All you have to do is head to the Fall City Wallaby Ranch.
Fall City is a tiny town located in King County just outside of Snoqualmie.
It's quiet and peaceful, the perfect setting for a farm (or a wallaby ranch).
You'll find Fall City Wallaby Ranch at 35303 SE Fish Hatchery Road.
The 10-acre ranch sits on privately owned property that borders the Fall City Airport.
The ranch is a USDA Licensed Breeder of Grey and Albino Bennetts Wallabies and Red Kangaroos.
And luckily, tours are available to the public.
Here, the wallabies are family, and you can get up-close-and-personal with them on your tour.
Tours consist of an educational introduction to the wallabies and kangaroos, where you'll get lots of great information and check out some photos. After that, the tour will get more interactive.
This is a great opportunity for children to interact with these magnificent marsupials.
You can even book a private school tour or have someone bring a wallaby to your classroom.
If you're lucky enough to go when there's a baby wallaby, you're welcome to hold the little bundle of joy.
And you're welcome to take as many photos as you'd like.
Fall City Wallaby Ranch tours last about 60 - 90 minutes, and they're well worth it.
You can call 206 354-8624 to book yours.
