The Twin Falls Trail is located in the North Bend Area of Washington State.

It is approximately a 35-mile drive from Seattle off of Interstate 90.

The route spans 2.6 miles roundtrip and there is a 500-foot elevation gain.

As you can see from the map, the trail meanders and crisscrosses other trails, so you can easily make it a longer hike if you wish.

The biggest highlights here are the three waterfalls, although the trail is called “Twin Falls.”

There’s the Upper Falls, the Lower Falls, and another upstream cascade. All are great photo opportunities and a place for quiet reflection.

The Twin Falls Trail is very scenic, and really showcases so much of the beauty found in this part of the state.

It traverses carpeted tree paths like you see here, as well as a swampy area, a river, impressive boulders, and picturesque lookout areas.

Verdant trees frame the waterfalls, giving each its own unique magical quality.

Be sure to dress warmly, as the strong winds common in this region often come up quickly, spraying water all around.

The natural wooded areas here are simply spectacular.
