There’s A Bakery And Store On This Beautiful Farm In Washington And You Have To Visit

Spring is coming. We promise. And when it does, our seasonal produce stands and Farmers Markets will reopen at last, welcoming locals and tourists who come to sample our freshly grown food. The Skagit Valley is full of fresh markets and farm stands, and that’s where you’ll find Skagit River Produce.

Skagit River Produce is open seasonally, typically from late March through October.

They’re located at 19193 State Route 534, off I-5 at Exit 221 in Conway.

When it comes to produce, it doesn’t get more "farm fresh" than this.

From the earliest spring greens to the fall harvest staples like potatoes and squash, you’ll find all kinds of Pacific Northwest-grown goodness here. You’ll also find grass fed meat, eggs from the farm, cheese, seafood and milk at the store.

But believe it or not, the produce and farm fresh eggs aren’t even the best things about Skagit River Produce. Their commercial kitchen allows them to have an onsite bakery.

They sell freshly baked pies using fruit from the farm, cookies, and other baked goods. The pies and pastries are positively addictive.

The talented group of cooks works with the season’s harvest to sell the best quality food.

Mount Vernon locals have been fans of this place since it opened, and now more and more Washingtonians are discovering them.

You can also enjoy ice cream from the delicious Lopez Island Creamery.

Nothing feels better than supporting local business, especially when dessert is involved.

Don’t leave the property without browsing the store thoroughly. They also sell locally made spice rubs, dog treats, candy and homemade items.

Simply put, this place is amazing.

Skagit River Produce is one of many amazing food producers in the Skagit Valley. For a better look at some of the venues in the area, check out the Bow-Edison Food Trail.
