Silver Falls is a waterfall that's located in the southeast corner of Mount Rainier National Park, near the tiny town of Packwood.

There are quite a few waterfall hikes in the Mount Rainier area, but this one is one of the most accessible.

The Silver Falls Trail is an easy three-mile loop with breathtaking scenery around every corner.

To reach it, head to the northeast end of Ohanapecosh Campground Loop B, right above the Ohanapecosh River.

This tranquil trail is easy to find and well-known, but it tends to be less crowded than the other hikes in the area.

If you really want to avoid other hikers, it's best to go during the week and early in the day.

You'll go over a few small hills and a creek with a few minor elevation changes.

Silver Falls will come into view about halfway into your hike.
