Inside the iconic Norfolk Botanical Garden awaits a magical wildflower meadow that can be accessed just through this enchanting overgrown gazebo.

The meadow, which begins blooming in the springtime, features a stunning array of more than 50 wildflower species. The sheer variety of colors is simply mesmerizing.

Described by the Norfolk Botanical Garden as an outdoor classroom, this special area allows visitors to observe butterflies, insects, and birds all interact in a magical setting.

These freely growing flowers offer a fascinating contrast to the rest of the garden's carefully landscaped presentation.

The garden was made possible by Perry E. Morgan, who donated money in honor of his wife Bunny Moran, a wildflower enthusiast.

In the spring, visitors can look out for varieties such as bachelor’s button, five spot, and poppies. During the summer, you'll find tickseed, gayfeather, and sunflowers.

So, whether you're a wildflower admirer or simply looking for a quiet place to reflect, you'll feel utterly enchanted by the array of wildflowers at the Norfolk Botanical Garden.
