The reservoir also has excellent fishing and is home to rainbow trout, perch, small-mouthed bass and more. Anglers of all ages will love to spend the morning dropping a line in the water.

The park sits on the site of a village settled in the 1800s, and you can see some remnants of the community today. A flood took the lives of nearly 50 residents in the 1930s, and many are buried in the little cemetery here.
