This 4.6-mile loop trail is rated as moderately difficult by the users over at AllTrails.

Your dog is even welcome on the trail, as long as they are leashed.

The trail takes you up 1400-feet in elevation, making your journey if not exactly strenuous, certainly rewarding.

The forest you’ll walk through is absolutely stunning.

But it doesn’t hold a candle to the view from the rocky overlook at the end of Deer Leap Trail.

You can see forever up there, making that moderately difficult trail well worth the climb.
