Vermont in the summertime is an amazing place to be. And whether you're more inclined towards water activities like kayaking and cliff-jumping, or adventuring and hiking, Vermont has so much to offer every nature enthusiast. One place that is definitely worth investigating and exploring this summer is Bingham Falls in the Notch of Mt. Mansfield. With an astonishing blue-green watercolor and a flowing, powerful 40-foot cascading waterfall, Bingham Falls wins our award for the most beautiful waterfall in Vermont.
Bingham Falls combines both a deep teal-colored pool and a majestic 40-foot waterfall, making it one of Vermont's most beautiful and fun waterfalls.
The falls are located between Stowe Mountain Resort and the town of Stowe on Route 108 (Upper Mountain Road), sometimes referred to as the "Notch Road." There is roadside parking along Route 108 and the falls are just a few minutes away.
There is a short and direct path from the roadside parking to the falls and surrounding pools.
Property of Mt. Mansfield State Forest, the falls are a favorite for locals and tourists alike. On the property, there are several large pools and deep gorges to explore.
The area around the falls is full of life and color. Wander through this area and discover lower and more secluded pools and walking trails.
For those who are more adventurous, there are ample cliff jumping opportunities at Bingham Falls. And if you are just interested in cooling off from the hot Vermont summer days, this place is also perfect for that as well.
