When the weather in Utah heats up, you'll want to cool down. One of the best ways to do so is to visit one of the lakes in the Beehive State. Utah Lake has plenty of recreation opportunities, and if you want to have some fun in the water you don't even need your own boat.

The marina offers all kinds of toys for a day of fun. Rent a kayak, canoe, paddleboard, pedal boat, or small sail boat.

Rates start at just $10 for the first hour; $5 for each hour after. The marina is open for rentals Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Have you tried paddleboarding? It's a great way to play on the water, and you'll get a workout as well.

Explore the lake in a kayak or canoe. Get yourself a fishing license and see if you can catch a walleye while you're out there.

Learn to sail on one of the marina's sailboats. Little Walker Bay sailboats don't require any experience, and you and a partner can jump aboard and give it a try. Get a larger Day Sailor if you have a little experience, or hire a licensed captain for just $25 an hour to teach you.

When it's time for lunch, enjoy the shady picnic area. There's a general store where you can get a treat or two, as well as a campground.
