Island Aqua Park Is A Floating Waterpark In Utah That’s Fun For The Whole Family
Island Aqua Park at Deer Creek Reservoir offers a floating obstacle course for summer fun and cooling off.
When the temperature gets toasty, it's time to head to one of Utah's lakes and reservoirs to cool down. There's no better way to spend a summer day than by splashing and playing in the cold water, and Island Aqua Park is the perfect place to do just that. Let's head to Deer Creek Reservoir to check it out:
Island Aqua Park is a different kind of water park. It's a floating obstacle course that offers bouncy fun, plenty of challenges and lots of ways to cool off. You'll find it just offshore at Deer Creek Reservoir.
To play at this park, you'll need to be at least six years old, and 48 inches tall. You'll purchase a one-hour or three-hour pass on Island Aqua Park's website, or at the kiosk on location. Passes cost between $15-$30.
Life jackets are required for safety! You can bring your own, or use one that the park provides. There's also a lifeguard on duty at all times.
Swim a short distance from the shore to the aqua park, then climb aboard and let the fun begin! You'll test your balance...
...climb up obstacles and slide back down...
...explore the different ways to go from one end of the park to the other...
...and jump right off into the lake whenever you want to get drenched again!
This bouncy, challenging water park is a great place to hang out with your friends, and make some new ones, too.
You can visit Island Aqua Park from Memorial Day through Labor Day, seven days a week. It's open from 10 a.m. to 7p.m.
Visit Island Aqua Park's website to purchase your play pass. You'll also want to follow the park's Facebook page to see what's new this summer!
