A Magical Desert Bloom Is Happening Soon In California And You Won’t Want To Miss It
Anza-Borrego Desert State Park in California transforms into a vibrant wildflower paradise each spring.
An enchanting annual phenomenon is about to transform this California desert into a lush paradise of wildflowers. Though wildflower blooms happen each spring across Calfirornia, this special desert offers some of the most stunning flowery scenery in the state.
Each March, parts of California’s Anza-Borrego Desert State Park suddenly erupt in colorful flowers.
It’s one of the few deserts in the world that experience a wildflower bloom.
The magnificent display is triggered when ample precipitation falls in the preceding fall and winter.
Dormant seeds burst to life when the weather shifts in the spring and blanket the desert in bright flowers.
The bloom typically starts in mid-March, but it can last until May.
It’s truly an awe-inspiring sight worthy of about a thousand photos.
If you’re not planning a spring trip to the Golden State yet, you should really get on that.
