Your Kids Will Have A Blast At This Texas Playground With Its Very Own Miniature Zipline

Ziplining doesn't have to be an extreme sport. One of the best playgrounds in Texas, Twin Creeks Park, offers zipline swings that are safe enough for even small children to enjoy.

If you have little ones, we can't imagine a better place for an afternoon outing than Twin Creeks Park in Allen.

This unique neighborhood park has it all - a safe playground, obstacle course, picnic tables and benches, a covered pavilion, and so much more.

Kids especially love the animal-themed elements on the playground...

...but the zipline swings are definitely the most popular attraction. These side-by-side swings offer all the thrill of a traditional zipline...just toned down a few notches for the youngins.

As you can see, kids love them. There's usually a line at least three or four deep - but it moves quickly since the total ride time is just a few seconds.

The best part is that the zipline swings are low to the ground and don't travel at high speeds, so even small children can safely enjoy them.

While the swings are geared towards kids, the park has plenty for adults to do, as well. The shaded hike and bike trails offer beautiful scenery...
