Storybook Island is located at 1301 Sheridan Lake Road in Rapid City. The park closes for the season on Labor Day, but at Christmastime, it becomes an enchanting winter wonderland that everyone can explore.

Dress warmly so you can wander through Storybook Island and see every display. Hop aboard the train for just $2 per person.

Admission to the Christmas Nights of Lights is $3 per person. Proceeds go toward park upkeep so that admission remains free to visitors during the summer months.

Before you leave, warm up with some hot cocoa, apple cider, or coffee and fresh-baked cookies for a small charge.

The Christmas Nights of Lights is open on November 24-26, December 1-3, December 8-23, and December 8-26.
