1. We'll take in a waterfall to get us started, visit West Greenwich's Stepstone Falls in a most picturesque setting.

Hike in the forest of Acadia, the state's largest recreational area, and one of the natural wonders in Rhode Island, to reach this treasured spot. Your route will take you through the forest and along the river on a fairly easy shaded walk. You can hike to Stepstone Falls along the 2.7-mile Ben Utter Trail.

2. After that hike, you'll be ready for some refreshment, so the next stop along the way is Leyden Farm Vineyard & Winery in West Greenwich.

Enjoy the relaxing backdrop at this 60-acre farm as you sample bites of fruit and cheese paired with local wines. 3. Time for another waterfall and the next one on the list is Ponaganset Falls in Clayville.

4. Just a short jaunt to the north, our next stop is Verde Vineyards in Johnston.

Wine at this quaint vineyard is made using hand-picked grapes, open fermentation, and oak barrel aging produces some amazing blends. Savor a glass while enjoying the country views including a few backyard chickens. 5. Travel onward to The Purple Cat Winery & Brewery a local gem serving quality wine and handcrafted beers.

6. We'll finish our trip with one last waterfall at the Round Top Fishing Area in Burrillville.
