A walk through the woods can be so therapeutic, communing with nature and getting some fresh air is just so calming. More often than not, we don't take the time out of our day that we should to get back to woods and remind ourselves of our roots, but you can change that so easily, especially in beautiful Rhode Island! With over 100 hiking trails, there are so many options to choose from, one area that we really love is the King Benson Preserve in Saunderstown.

The King Benson Preserve trail is a three mile loop that is doable for hikers of all abilities.

The path is lushly wooded and features some footbridges and wooden path coverings to make the trek easier.

Gorgeous plant life studs the trail and gives the whole hike a cozy feeling.

There are stunning lake views to take in along the way as well, giving this hike a little bit of everything.

But the true draw is this gorgeous grove of spruce trees that creates a tunnel for you to walk through.

If feels utterly magical to walk through this path of trees as you make your way down the trail.

And we especially recommend visiting is fall, as the leaves change, though it may be hard to believe, this path becomes even more enchanting.

What do you think? Will you be exploring the gorgeous aisle of trees sometime soon? We love the ease of accessibility and the cozy feeling that the trees create.
