1. Prospect Terrace, Providence
This small, but charming park is found on Congdon Street in Providence. It offers arguably the best view of the city in all of Providence and is a perfect place to take a short stroll and enjoy the historic skyline.
2. Cliff Walk, Newport
The Newport Cliff Walk became a designated national recreation trail in 1975. The trail is 3.5 miles of gorgeous walking path overlooking Narragansett Bay. Find it at Route 138A in Newport.
3. Mohegan Bluffs, New Shoreham
The Mohegan Bluffs stand brilliantly tall at 150 feet and are formed with natural clay. Find them on Block Island near Southeast Light.
4. Neutaconkanut Hill Park, Providence
This urban lookout is found in Neutaconkanut Park in Providence. Within the park is several miles of trails through dense forested areas, meadows, fields, and more. Find the park off Plainfield Street in Providence.
5. Ell and Long Ponds, Hopkinton
This hike found off Route 3 is definitely on the more difficult side compared to many others in state, but offers several gorgeous overlooks to view Ell and Long Ponds. Find this scenic hike in the rural town of Hopkinton.
