The Easy Trail That Might As Well Be The Wildflower Capital Of Rhode Island
We're pretty spoiled living in Rhode Island. After all, all we have to do is walk outside, and we're treated to some of the most awe-inspiring natural beauty anywhere. Living in a state as naturally beautiful as Rhode Island means we want to see and experience as much of it as we can. One of the best ways to do that is on one of dozens of hiking trails across the state. Stop to smell the wildflowers when you follow this beautiful wildflower trail in North Kingstown, Rhode Island.
You won't need a ton of time - maybe around an hour - to wander along the Ryan Park Loop Trail, an easy trail that tallies 2.1 miles.
If you're looking for something fun to do but don't have a lot of time, you'll quickly find this is the perfect trail.
One of the first things you'll likely notice as you meander along this picturesque path, if you're hiking during the warmer months, is the wildflowers that add a pop of color to the landscape.
Take some time to stop and smell the flowers (leave them where you've found them though), and maybe even snap a few photos.
Since it's so popular, the trail can get quite busy, so be prepared to run into other hikers as well as bikers.
