1. Sahli Nature Park – Beaver Falls
Let's start our daylong adventure at Sahli Nature Park in Beaver Falls. The 90-acre nature park boasts an abundance of natural beauty - from footbridges to a butterfly nursery. You'll also discover a picture-perfect waterfall that tumbles into a shimmering pool of water. Snap photos of the waterfall, or sit by the edge of the water before exploring more of the park. 2. Buttermilk Falls – Beaver Falls
Our next stop takes us to Buttermilk Falls, just 10 minutes from Sahli Nature Park. Nestled in Buttermilk Falls Natural Area, the 40-foot waterfall is at the end of a five to 15-minute walk (depending on fast you walk). Along the way, you'll climb a wide stone staircase and pass an old stone quarry. Enjoy views from the waterfall's base and from above. You can even walk behind the waterfall. 3. Settlers Cabin Park – Pittsburgh
Let's head back to Pittsburgh and to Settlers Cabin Park, a charming spot for a relaxing picnic. Allegheny County officially has one waterfall (our next stop), but this little waterfall still deserves a mention. To reach it, set off on the 1.9-mile Green Loop Trail. 4. Fall Run - Glenshaw
Fall Run Waterfall in Fall Run Park in Glenshaw is officially the only waterfall in Allegheny County. It sits at the end of a one-mile hike that will lead you through lush green and over charming footbridges. 5. Jonathan Run Falls – Stewart Township

Follow the Youghiogheny River Trail, the longest of your hikes today, to reach Jonathan Run Falls. 6. Cucumber Falls – Stewart Township
Need a bit of a breather after our last hike? Reaching Cucumber Falls is simple, and there's no hiking either. Just park at the Cucumber Falls parking lot, where you can drink in stellar overhead views of the waterfall. For stunning views from the base, walk down the wooden staircase. (You can even walk behind Cucumber Falls for unique views. However, keep in mind that the ground will be wet and slippery.)

7. Ohiopyle Falls – Ohiopyle
Our final stop of the day brings us to the magnificent Ohiopyle Falls, less than a mile from Cucumber Falls. Again, you don't have to worry about hiking to see the falls. Park at the Ohiopyle Visitors Center. If you're visiting when the visitors center is open, you can go inside and check out the views from indoors. To hear the gushing of the waterfall, just stroll to one of the observation decks - also an ideal spot for photos and selfies with Ohiopyle Falls as the backdrop.
