If you prefer a bit of a challenge, follow the 2.5-mile Middle Ridge Trail, which scores a hard rating.

You'll face quite a few obstacles along the way, including elevation changes and some downed trees (depending on when you hike).

Wildlife is abundant at Little Buffalo State Park. You may cross paths with a variety of birds, beavers, turkeys, and deer.
