Meandering 8.4 miles through Pinchot State Forest, Choke Creek Nature Trail is brimming with natural beauty, but there's a bit of a catch. The trail scores a moderately challenging rating.

Pinchot State Forest spans more than 50,000 acres, welcoming visitors to explore on foot, horseback, and mountain bike. The park is also popular for kayaking, picnicking, and camping.

Sturdy shoes are a must on this trail that features rocky and muddy terrain. If you're hiking after it rains, the trail will likely be wet.

Hiking after the rain might be a bit messy, but that usually means the waterfall is at its strongest (and perhaps most beautiful). Carve out around three hours for your hike.
