This Petting Zoo In Pennsylvania Is Also A Restaurant And It’s Fun For The Whole Family

A day among animals promises at least one thing: unforgettable memories. Animals have such huge personalities – whether outgoing or shy – and without fail, can bring a smile to our faces. This petting zoo in Pennsylvania just might be the perfect day trip. After you’ve met the friendly zoo residents, you’ll find a whole lot of other attractions to check out, from a restaurant to mini-golf.

You definitely don’t want to forget your camera when you set off on a one-of-a-kind family-friendly adventure at The Farmer’s Inn in Sigel, a petting zoo and so much more.

Most guests start their visit by hanging out with the residents of the petting zoo. Feed the adorable goats and cute cows by hand (food is available when you enter the park). If you’ve never fed a goat before, you’re in for a treat, and you’re about to make a whole bunch of friends for life.

The zoo is home to a variety of animals – tortoises, pigs, llamas, sloths, and kangaroos are just a few of the friendly faces you might see.

There are also some exotic animals that you can snap photos of but not get too close to, including bears and bobcats.

Follow up your fun with the animals by playing a round or two of mini-golf, doing a little gem mining, or stopping by the candy store to stock up on all of your favorite candies.

When you’re good and hungry, head over to the restaurant for a hearty, delicious meal. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Dig into hot and cold dishes from the generous buffet.

Before you leave the animal park for the day, stop by the gift shop, where you can stock up on goodies. Season passes for The Farmer’s Inn are also available.

The Farmer’s Inn is a seasonal attraction, open mid-April through the last weekend of October.
