12. Ecola Point

Located in the stunning Ecola State Park near Cannon Beach on Oregon's northern coast, Ecola Point is a spectacular viewpoint that looks out over the gorgeous coastline. You'll be able to see the iconic Haystack Rock, Tillamook Rock Lighthouse, and stunning horizons in every direction.

11. Salt Creek Falls Viewing Platform

This stunning waterfall in the Cascades is the second tallest waterfall in Oregon, and it's absolutely mesmerizing. No hiking is required to get to the amazing observation deck that looks down over the falls; it's wheelchair accessible and is only 50 yards from the parking lot.

10. Watchman Peak

This dramatic viewpoint is located on the Watchman Peak Trail and overlooks the jaw-dropping Crater Lake in southern Oregon. The trail is less than a mile in length and at the top you'll find a historic fire lookout tower as well as breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding scenery.

This historic vista house in northwest Oregon overlooks the amazing Columbia River Gorge and requires no hiking to reach.

8. Sherrard Point

Sherrard Point is an incredible observation platform located high up on the edge of Larch Mountain. On a clear day, it seems as though you can see forever. Rolling, pine-covered hills stretch far into the distance and are topped with the magnificent peaks of Mt Hood, Mt Jefferson, Mt Adams, Mt Ranier, and Mt Saint Helens. To reach this viewpoint you'll only have to walk about a quarter mile from the parking lot.

7. Cascade Head

This gorgeous viewpoint on the central coast features dramatic views of the ocean, beaches, cliffs, and more. There are multiple hiking options to get here, including a 1-mile hike to Cascade Head and a 4.5-mile hike on the Nature Conservancy Trail.

6. Jonsrud Viewpoint

Located on the Oregon Scenic Byway in the town of Sandy, Jonsrud Viewpoint offers stunning views of Mt Hood and the Sandy River Valley. There are also telescopes here to get a closer look at the scenery.

5. Wallowa Lake Tramway

In the Wallowa Mountains in eastern Oregon you'll find the amazing Wallowa Lake Tramway, a gondola that takes visitors on a scenic ride from Wallowa Lake up to the summit of Mt Howard. You'll get to see some amazing views during the ride, and once you've reached the top you should definitely take some time to walk along the summit trail of Mt Howard for more incredible views.

Located in the west hills of Portland, Pittock Mansion is a well-preserved historic mansion that is open to the public. In the garden, you'll also find one of the best views of the city, with Mt Hood in the distance.

3. Hells Canyon Overlook

This incredible overlook in Hells Canyon (located on the border of eastern Oregon) offers breathtaking views of the rugged canyon terrain.

2. Dee Wright Observatory

This unique, historic observatory is located at the top of the McKenzie Pass, and offers unparalleled views of the unusual scenery and surrounding mountain peaks.

Take a steep, 3-mile hike to the top of Neahkahnie Mountain on the northern Oregon coast; at the top you'll be greeted with truly jaw-dropping views of the coastline and the glittering Pacific Ocean.
