Nestled away in the Willamette National Forest, this one-of-a-kind waterfall is easily accessible, and it's positively breathtaking. Check it out:

Located in the Willamette National Forest, Salt Creek Falls is one of Oregon's most spectacular cascades.

This amazing 293-foot waterfall pours thunderously over a mossy rock wall into a dramatic canyon surrounded by miles of dense green forest.

An short walk leads to a gorgeous observation deck from which you can view the waterfall as it plunges brilliantly into a deep blue basin. There is also a wheelchair-accessible ramp.

The views of the waterfall -- and the surrounding scenery -- are downright stupendous.

If you're feeling adventurous, continue along the trail as it winds down into the canyon, allowing you to see the stunning waterfall from below.

For those looking for a longer excursion, the Diamond Creek Falls trail begins at the Salt Creek Observation Site as well. This 2.5-mile loop trail features views of Salt Creek Falls as well as the lovely Lower and Upper Diamond Creek Falls.

There is a $5 day use fee, so be sure to bring cash or a Recreation Pass.
