We think that Oklahoma is one of the most beautiful places in the country. The state is brimming with lovely features (something you’re well aware of if you’ve ever searched online for waterfalls near me). But in case you start to take all this spectacular scenery for granted, this mesmerizing drone footage will remind you how lucky you are to live in the Sooner State.
Tucked away in the Arbuckle Mountains, along Honey Creek, you'll find Turner Falls. It's just six miles from downtown Davis, in the south-central part of Oklahoma. Located in Turner Falls Park, it's a popular spot for swimming.
This unique waterfall splits into several cascades as it tumbles over the cliff above the drop. The falls are 77 feet tall; the tallest in the state. This spot is the perfect place to cool off on a hot, summer day, but it's also absolutely stunning.
Check out this drone footage posted by Matt Skuta on YouTube. It shows you the falls from high above, as you've never seen them before.
So, what do you think? Ever seen views like this when searching for waterfalls near me? Ever visited Turner Falls in person? If so, what'd you think? Tell us!
Does all this footage of water make you want to dive right in? We thought it would, which is why we suggest checking out a natural swimming hole in Oklahoma, which is sure to take you back to the good ole days.
