The Tulsa Farmer's Market is known as one of Oklahoma's premier Farmer's Market and features over 75 vendors. Right now is prime season to visit and they are open every Saturday morning through October. The Tulsa Farmer's Market is open from April - October 23 on Saturday mornings from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Kendall Whittier District in Tulsa. And, starting on May 5 they will also be open on Wednesdays from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

The market is all outdoors with most vendors under a tent for shade covering. The market is a place where local businesses can come together and sell their food, merchandise, or homemade goods in one convenient place.

You can even find your favorite local wine and take some home for the week. Some vendors even offer samples before purchasing.

One of my favorite things to purchase when I visit is fresh flowers. There's nothing like the smell of local flowers bursting with color on the coffee table back home.

Another great item you'll also find is Oklahoma-made soap that is free of harsh chemicals. It's a great product to pick up if you are suffering from skin issues or just want to go more natural.

Other vendors will sell homemade goods, so you can buy a unique item for the house, a gift for your friend, or something special for the back patio.

Some of the more popular items are farm-fresh eggs, fresh milk, homemade bread, natural beef and chicken, and pesticide-free vegetables.
