A Day At Spring-Fed Pool In Oklahoma Is All You Need To Make Your Summer Complete

Gage Artesian Beach in Gage, Oklahoma, offers a unique mineral water swimming experience perfect for summer.

There's nothing more refreshing on a hot summer day than a dip in a cold swimming pool. While you can find a chlorinated swimming pool on almost every corner, it's rare to find one that's filled with mineral-laden water. There's one hiding in a small town in Oklahoma that's open to the public and believe me, you'll want to visit it this summer. Check it out below:

Gage Artesian Beach is located in the small town of Gage, Oklahoma, at E. Independence & State Hwy 15.

It's a unique swimming hole that's filled with mineral water instead of chlorinated water. It was discovered in 1917 when workers were digging for oil but instead found water.

Cement sides were built up around the water, but it features a sandy bottom, instead of the typical hard surface you'd normally find in a swimming pool.

The pool is filled with mineral water that's perfect for floating, swimming, and relaxing.

Plus, you'll find a diving board that provides hours and hours of fun.

And a slide that twirls you into the refreshing water. The pool reaches up to 14 feet in certain parts and you'll even see a few fish every so often.

Gage Artesian Beach is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, 7 days a week from 1 to 6 p.m. The price is only $2 per person and children 3 and under are free.

Isn't this place unique? I wish we had more of these natural swimming pools around the state! For more information, visit their Facebook page here.
