Spend The Afternoon Outdoors On The Water Enjoying This New Spot In Oklahoma

By now, you've probably heard about The Gathering Place in Tulsa - named the best new attraction in the country by USA TODAY. It's definitely worth a visit multiple times over and now there's even a better reason to visit - the boat rentals are open. You can rent them for free and spend the afternoon outdoors on the water enjoying the pond in the park.

After parking at the park, head to the ONEOK Boathouse to check in. Boat rentals are now available (weather permitting) everyday from 1-7 p.m.

Visitors to the park can rent a kayak, canoe or paddle boat and take them around Peggy's Pond.

Everything is free of charge, including the life jacket. It's such a peaceful and beautiful area to enjoy an afternoon out on the water.

It's an easy ride to navigate, so no need to worry if you'll get lost or stuck. All riders must be at least 5 years of age to ride.

The pond is a beautiful spot in this larger than life park. There is so much to do here, on and off the water.

One of my favorite spots is on one of the rockers on the dock. It's one of the most peaceful places in the park to relax and enjoy the beauty of the water and nature.
