Turner Falls offers not only a stunning waterfall but also hidden caves for adventurous explorers.
We all know the highlight of Turner Falls is the stunning 77-ft. waterfall that beautifully falls from the rocks of the Arbuckle Mountains into a natural pool below. But there is something else in the park that explorers will want to check out - the hidden caves. Some of these caves are marked and easily accessible, however, there are a few "secret" caves that exist that are waiting to be explored in some of the oldest mountains on earth.
Some caves in the area are well-known and easily accessible.
Like this one that looks right out to the falls.
They are found up above the falls.
Along with wading pools and all sorts of places to explore.
But others are hidden and not advertised to the general population.
Like this one called Crystal Cave. If you find it, watch out for the bats and animals inside.
Look for an entrance like this, for another amazing cave to explore.
The caves have tight spaces and can be dark, so don't forget your flashlight and hiking boots.
