This fun hike will take you over a lovely bridge, through parks, along rivers, and past breathtaking scenery. Pathfinder Parkway is a 12-mile paved path in Bartlesville that meanders through parks, schools, wooded areas, and commercial districts.
The path is about eight feet wide and is perfect for walking, hiking, jogging, or biking.
Most of the path is wooded so it's the perfect hike during the summer months.
And there's a good chance you'll see many different kinds of wildlife along the way.
One of the most spectacular parts of the hike is going over the Caney Pedestrian Bridge - located halfway between the trail access at Silver Lake Road and the Shawnee trailhead (just southeast of Bartlesville High School).
The trail is easily accessible by nine trailheads, all of which include parking.
