The Gardens Transform Into A Winter Wonderland During Christmas At Kingwood In Ohio

The holiday season in Ohio is a magical season. Drive-thru light displays are plentiful, small towns come alive with seasonal events and historic estates deck the halls with Christmas cheer. Kingwood Center Gardens in Mansfield transforms into a winter wonderland for the season. Christmas at Kingwood is a magical event the whole family can enjoy. With both indoor and outdoor attractions, there's plenty to see and do—and you'll instantly feel some Christmas spirit. Here's why you'll want to add this one-of-a-kind event to your holiday bucket list:

Year-round, visitors marvel at the beauty of Kingwood Center Gardens. During the holiday season, the historic mansion and surrounding grounds are extra magical.

The 47-acre former estate garden has been open to the public since 1953 and it's a true Ohio treasure.

During Christmas at Kingwood, the entire estate is transformed into a colorful winter wonderland that will instantly put you in the holiday spirit.

This year's event takes place on November 30 - January 5. Until the start of the New Year, you can visit on Thursdays - Sundays from 4 p.m. - 9 p.m.

You'll take a stroll through the Trail of Lights outside and check out the magical Greenhouse display.

This year's theme is "Christmas Classics" and there's something new going on every week.

Admission is $5 per person and children 12 and under are free. (Members are free as well.)

Note: The entrance is located at the Trimble Road gate and parking is available in the new Trimble lot.

Be sure to venture inside as well. The mansion is decked out and the Community Tree Walk features seemingly countless trees, all uniquely decorated.
